  • Knife: Diegylis is the name of a fierce and extremely bloodthirsty Thracian warrior, appropriate for this aggressive tactical combat weapon and survival tool. This is a very tough knife, dependable and strong for survival, with the spine, curves, and point for combat and defense, and is in use in the counterterrorism field. The knife and all fittings and accessories are extremely corrosion resistant, making it an extremely low care, serious duty knife capable and ready for any environment. The blade shape is roughly classified as a clip point Bowie, but with the full tang and protective handle, it surpasses any other knife of its style and genre. The blade is tough, wear resistant and highly corrosion resistant 440C high chromium stainless tool steel tempered to 57HRC for great toughness. The cutting edge is thin and razor sharp, with 2" of my vampire rip tooth serrations for cutting through the toughest materials. These serrations will trap slippery lines, rip through the hardest plastics and saw hardwoods with ease. The blade has an accurate clipped and swaged point and with beautifully matching hollow grinds from the grind terminations to the point lead-off. The blade has no filework to capture and hold debris, adding to the low care and high corrosion resistance. The knife has a fully tapered tang with the center of balance exactly at the forefinger position. The knife is bolstered with zero-care 304 high nickel, high chromium austenitic stainless steel for the ultimate in tough corrosion resistance and high strength. The bolsters are radiused, dressed and comfortable for the hand in either forward or reverse grip. The large front bolster reinforces the thumb rise with the locking tang notch and a large forefinger quillon for safety. The rear bolster has a chamfered 5/16" chamfered lanyard hole for extra security and a deep quillon to lock the hand into the handle. The bolsters are dovetailed and bed a pair of super-tough canvas-reinforced green and black layered Micarta phenolic handle scales, secured with six through-tang stainless steel pins. The knife feels fast and strong in the hand, an extremely solid performer.
  • Sheath: I've included one of my positively locking waterproof sheaths, and this one is made of double thickness kydex thermoformed over a 5052H32 high strength, corrosion resistant aluminum alloy welt frame, secured with all stainless steel Chicago screws and machine fasteners. The locking mechanism is all stainless steel as well, for the ultimate in corrosion resistance, and the die-formed high strength aluminum alloy belt loops are reversible as well as able to be positioned in four different parallel locations along the welt lines for versatile and useful wear options.
  • Accessories:  This knife and sheath called for my ultimate accessory package, so I included my Ultimate combat, survival, and CSAR sheath belt loop extension with accessories. There is nothing in this accessory set that can rust, corrode or decay, and he polypropylene belt loop extender is waterproof, durable, and extremely stout, supporting the weight of over five men. It allows the locking knife sheath to be worn in a more traditional belt position at the hip as well as ensuring reliable carry of the useful and critical accessories. The extension is mounted with 304 stainless steel straps and stainless steel machine screws attached to the existing stainless Chicago screws, and the assembly is stiffened by multiple zigzag nylon stitching to prevent the extension from folding, bending, or collapsing when the knife is extracted from the sheath. The belt loop is 2.25 inches wide to accommodate a wide variety of belts, and has a top placement shock cord with stainless steel snap retention to prevent the knife handle from flopping around during active movements. The shock cord is not for retention of the knife; this is done with the stainless steel sheath lock. Read more about my Ultimate Belt Loop Extenders at this bookmark. At the lower back of the extension I've included a custom fit pocket for a DMT (Diamond Machining Technology) Mini-Sharp diamond-nickel abrasive hone, to bring up the cutting edge in the field with ease, even on this high alloy, wear-resistant blade. These are great tools that can re-sharpen or just touch up even the hardest tool steel edges; they are surface bonded with diamond abrasives and will cut and sharpen for many years. The pocket for this tool is situated at the sheath back and against the body, so the sharpener can not be removed unless the sheath is off the body and the industrial strength Velcro closure is open. Read more about this critical sharpening accessory at this bookmark. I also added a specially modified critical survival component to this accessory: the Firesteel/Magnesium block with custom fittings. These blocks are waterproof and durable, with soft magnesium that can be easily shaved off with the knife blade, and a Firesteel striker to ignite the magnesium shavings when placed into tinder to start a fire. A unique addition to this block is the stainless steel rod guard. This minimizes the possibility of the Firesteel contacting any other metals and causing accidental sparks and ignition when worn or removed, guards the knife tip (or swage) when the blade is dragged over the Firesteel, helps concentrate and guide the spark direction, and offers a variety of mounting options, besides on the sheath extender's industrial strength Velcro straps. Being all 304 stainless steel, it will not corrode or rust. Read more about the Firesteel/Magnesium fire starter at this bookmark. Another nice inclusion on these useful accessory packages is the Maglite Solitaire, a small and durable flashlight that is water resistant, with O-ring seals and made of black anodized machined aluminum. I  provide a custom made stainless steel retention double-ring mount for locking the light in its dedicated sleeve for security yet "up front" access in the package. Read more about the Maglite Solitaire and mounts at this bookmark.
  • This is a great knife with a serious high-performance blade that is made for combat, counterterrorism, survival, rescue, hazardous emergencies and any chore the user may encounter, in an extremely durable and highly corrosion resistant form. If it's jungle rescue, marine environments, or desert combat, this is the Primary Edged Weapon that can deliver. Included is all of the accessories I can offer in the Ultimate Belt Loop extender: useful adjuncts that provide emergency help while not being too large or bulky. The package has a wide variety of mounting and wear options, and can mesh with just about any tactical or practical gear you may have for your excursions. A complete and necessary knife with all the bells and whistles!

Thanks, S. H.!
